I spent almost the whole afternoon pressing and cutting small pieces of fabric. I have to make a good use of all my scraps so I decided to cut some of my strips and other leftover fabric into 2,5 and 1,5 inch squares.
Oh My God!!! If only I could afford a Baby Go, I spent so many hours with my rotary cutter and look the small amount of squares I got
My back is hurting so bad for being curved for so many time. I think I need a hot bath!

A go cutter would be a huge help with this kind of cutting , I often wish I owned one too . That is a lot of cutting , no wonder your back is sore. Take care.
I can understand where you are comming from. I cut 1 7/8 swuares for the 4" basket blocks I am making. But, I keep telling myself, The quilt will be worth it.
Arrrrh... but it will be worth it I'm sure! :)
I love using up scraps but the cutting and pressing does take ages!! Enjoy the hot bath and soon you will be doing the fun part...

I love scraps and cut is a bit boring, but I love playing with fabrics.Have fun!
But just think, you'll be getting a 'free' quilt! Don't try to cut it all at one time.
Your poor back, lots of pretty squares though! Hugs Wendy
