Todas a trabalhar

Look How much he has grown!!!

Exactly one month ago I posted about our new addition to our family. Blackie, a black mini Schnauzer came into our lives and it's been a joy to see him grow. He is part of our family now and he enjoys to play with his toys. My DD and DS just adore him. He has grown a lot and chews everything he can...slippers, socks, toilet paper, whatever he can bite into. Life will never be the same. Nevertheless we love him!

A lucky, very lucky girl!!!

Sometime ago I won a giveaway at Quilting by Celia, I have to show you all the goodies she sent me. I was quite speechless when I opened the package
Those are the lovely gifts I received

An embroidery Kit with the most amazing peacock, Celia also sent me some thread and beads to use in the Kit. to make things even better she added some beautiful patterns, I have to make some of those beauties.

Celia sent me these great african style FQs, I hadn't any in my stash so I was thrilled to receive them.

I told Celia I love Log Cabin blocks and she made me a little but adorable block. I'm going to use it  to make a pincushion for my collection. It will be a great item to add to it. I received a nice card from Celia and she also sent me three of our FWblocks swap. I'm making the odds and she's making the even. We make two of each and send the other one. Isn't that a great idea. We end up with a quilt that has twice the fabric range. I forgot to mention that is also a lot of fun .

Thank very much Celia and Lucinda ( Lucinda is Celia's daughter and it was her that picked my name).

Can you give me a little help?

The Missouri Quilt company has some great video tutorials. One of these days I tried to make a new block I saw on one of the tutorials. It uses 2,5" strips, so it's great for jelly rolls. It's very easy but the results are stunning

I'm planing to make two table runners, this is only a first attempt to position the blocks . now I need some help  from you. How should I finish the runners? Give me your wise opinions for I'm a bit lost here.

I received the most beautiful gift from Tanya at Little Wee Birds. She was my partner at  The Keeper Swap and she sent me the most beautiful sewing set.

It's a scissor keeper, a needle case and an adorable pincushion to add to my collection. I loved the stitchery and all the details. I'll cherish this gift like a treasure and it will always remind me of my friend Tanya. Thank you Very much lovely Tanya.

Isn't the pincushion the cutest thing ever?
