FNSI- What I Acomplished

Last night I finished the last six blocks of my Rounneries Deux Quilt.

The 20 blocks are ready to assemble but I have a big issue... Should I use sashing? What color?

 Cream sashing ?

              Dark red sashing ?
Or no sashing at all?

Please, my friends,  give me your advice, leave me a hint on what would look better!!!

Love the blocks....I like the no sashing...

I think "no" sashing, just a boarder around the outside. Love the colors. Have a great weekend!

I agree - no sashing but add a border. I'm at the same point with a lap quilt like this. I got the blocks made, sewn together & its all sandwiched but I stalled out because I think it needs a border and not just binding. Yours looks beautiful!

I think no sashing, it looks more compact that way

I am a sashing gal. When I first looked at it I was thinking ivory/cream, but I do really like the red thrown in there! Sometimes you just really lose the block if it is not sashed, unless there is a secondary block pattern you are making! You know what I'm sayin!! I love these blocks BTW!!!!

I think ivory/cream sashing as well. I like the pics at the top where they are laying on a white background spread apart.

What a lovely quilt. I'd go without smashing or a cream color. Great fNSI results.

Beautiful.....personally I would go without and use a matching red for a nice sized border.... any way will look great.. they just look different
