Design Wall Monday - My Aunt Sarah's Quilt

My very modified version Of Aunt Sarah's quilt is finally ready to be quilted. I finished sewing the border to the main quilt.

I first planned to  hand sew all around but I had to give it up and did it using the sewing machine. I looks pretty well...I think.

I love the idea of using the hexagons as a border to the house. Very nice!

It's like a flower garden all around the house. I love it.

Teresa, this is just beautiful! I have an unfinished Grandmother's Garden quilt my grandma started. Someday I'd like to do something with it. :)
