This morning, after a comforting breakfast I made my first New Year's resolution: The queen size quilt top I made last Summer had to be finished. No, I didn't finish it but I got it sandwiched and ready to be quilted.
I've been postponing this for quite a while for I hate to sandwich quilts but what better way to start 2012 but with this sense of achievement. I think I'm going to be able to get over all the obstacles I might face during this year. If I got this done I can do most everything.

Interesting colours. I have no doubt you'll finish it and its well worth having it done... go for it!
I love your quilt! I agree that sandwiching quilts is the worst part. Partly because I have no place to do it. I can't imagine a queen size! Good luck in getting it quilted. You will certainly feel good about having it finished!
Well done, Teresa. What an eye-catching quilt.
great resolution.. it's a beautiful quilt top and will be so lovely finished...

It looks like you and I have similar New years resolution. Looks like thats one large quilt you are working on.
Feliz 2012!
Espero que tenhas um ano com muita saúde e muita costura!
Estás a começar em grande.

What a lovely quilt. I too hate sandwiching, which is why I try to leave the big quilts till my Stitch and Bitch sewing day. Anne where we meet has a perfect work bench and always helps. Is feels really great to start the year with a big finish LOL
Hugs Tanya
You will feel so good when you get this lovely quilt finished Teresa..
