Works in progress and some finishes
This week was a prolific one. I managed to finish some old projects and some new ones too.
My Farmer's Wife Sampler top is finally finished.
I sewed the borders yesterday. Now I wonder how long it will take me to quilt it.
I've made another pincushion, I just love them
Work in progress:
I've started another scrappy project

Quilting indecision
I began quilting my "Rose Whig" table runner.
I chose a small meandering for the tan blocks and a bit echoing for the lighter ones
So far so good, I think I'll leave it like this but now what about the border...How should I quilt it?
If you can give me a little help I would be very grateful. I don't have the faintest idea
This is what the runner looks like
Should I use straight lines, criss cross, meandering, feathers....Oh! What an indecision
Hugs,
Teresa

What I've been working on
I finally finished the stitching I began last Friday Night with Friends. It took me more than I thought but it has been almost impossible to sew these days. The house chores, my husband's health ( that isn't so good) and my daughter being away on her final nurse training before finishing her degree.
I'm pretty happy with it, I still don't know where I'm gonna use it, probably on a mini quilt or on a notebook cover.
After cutting so many squares I had to make something with them ( not all but some). It isn't finished yet but I'm showing you how it's growing...

My Kingdom for a Baby cutter or... My back is killing me
I spent almost the whole afternoon pressing and cutting small pieces of fabric. I have to make a good use of all my scraps so I decided to cut some of my strips and other leftover fabric into 2,5 and 1,5 inch squares.
Oh My God!!! If only I could afford a Baby Go, I spent so many hours with my rotary cutter and look the small amount of squares I got
My back is hurting so bad for being curved for so many time. I think I need a hot bath!

FNwF- Friday Night with Friends
Yesterday I joined all my friends from all over the world for another FNwF hosted by the lovely Cheryll at Gone Stitchin'.
I didn't get much done, some family issues needed my attention but by the end of the night I managed to sew the border of the " Sweet and Short " table runner, a pattern from Kim Diehl that I altered a bit (as usual ).
I still have to applique the leaves on the border, I'm thinking about using wool to do the leaves, what do you think?
Next I did some stitching
I had planned to finish the angel. It's a free pattern from Michelle Ridgway and I love it but this is what I got to do
Maybe tomorrow. Nevertheless I enjoyed another night with my friends and that is the most important
HUGS,
TERESA
