When you can't buy new fabric but you still want to do some quilting you have to improvise.
Using my small bits of leftover fabric is the solution I found since my fabric diet began.
I searched for some fabric from my Farmer's Wife Sampler and cut it into small pieces
The little squares are 1'5".
With them I made some nine patch and snow balls, I want to make the " Short and Sweet " table topper, which is a Kim Diehl's pattern
This is what I've achieved so far, next week-end I intend to make some more.

that is such a pretty way to use up your 'scraps'.... I think scrappy quilts are my favourite...

The table runner looks pretty so far, you have chosen lovely left over fabrics.
What a pretty project! You have nice scraps.
This is going to be gorgeous! Don't you just love it when you make something from those tiny scraps? It makes me feel....I don't know, just good. :) blessings, marlene
They are adorable
Visiting via Stitchin by the Lake...love you little blocks. That is going to be an awesome piece. Fabric diet? I am not sure that sustainable but I applaud your results! :)
