Another week has gone by so quickly. It was a good sewing week with lots of work done
FINISHED PROJECTS:
Sweet Summer Cottage
I finally finished my hexie quilt. I began it last Summer, it was a very challenging project which involved about 540 hand sewn hexies.

I love swapping and this past week-end I worked in some swap projects and also made some stuff for my PIF recipients
ON GOING PROJECTS:
Penelope's Paradise
The inner border in on. Now I'm thinking about a pieced outer border. What do you think? I'm opened for any suggestions, please fell free to give them to me.

Your summer cottage is beautiful. It sure looks like hard work. Well done. I did an EPP last year and almost didn't finish it but yours is well worth the many hours you undoubtly has put into it.
The hexagon quilt is amazing! I've done one too, it sure does take a massive amount of work!! Well worth it!
oh my, your hexie quilt is just beautiful!! i just LOVE it!! i've only done smaller projects with hand piecing hexagons. hopefully someday i can do a large quilt. :)

That hexie quilt looks like a labor of love!! I can't believe the patience and sheer tenacity it takes to complete one of those, and yours came out wonderfully! Congratulations on the finish!
Maybe a piano keys border for the outside border on your Penelope's paradise? I'm not sure. I think a solid border would also be super striking!

Love your cottage quilt. And my granny squares are slowly getting done as well, I only finished 3 so far! I do love them though.
